Sales figures and exclusive games rubbed in their faces, the press writing headlines saying "Nintendo is doom3d", fingers pointing, laughing, handing out labels like "kiddy" and more all in the name of boosting their own ego and making Nintendo fans feels worthless.

For once in the past 13 years Nintendo fans have a moment in the sun. Don't be a rain cloud. Let these people breathe for a few minutes as they've earned it sticking with something they've believed in for over a decade and it's finally given them something to be proud of on a social level.

So please spare us the moral horses, the indignant, and the 'who cares' for just a little while.

I think passing the GC sales will be one of the more significant milestones it will achieve. Ever home console from Nintendo has had lower sales than the one preceding it. To see that trend reversed will mean the end of the downward spiral replayed by anti-Nintendo media.

Surpassing each subsequent console from that point would also mark moments in history to show how far they fell and how fast they've returned.

Viper: I know, but it's definately not a portable. I know, I had one and believe me, it stayed put where it was!

Astrodust: Sure have. This announcement brought in a lot of new people, many of which have probably never seen the place and will stick around now. Infact, with the amount of other sites reffering to us over this announcement, we've just gone one giant step closer to being widely respected. Hopefully the cycle continues and we bring in better advertising, which gives us more money to put into data collection, which gives us Pal region and Canada numbers.
