You have to remember that the N64 was a miniturized silicon graphics workstation, those who didint put time into devolpment of their titles really screwed the pooch. And that was just about 'every' 3rd party putting out games on the N64.

1st/2nd party did really well because well... Nintendo knew how to use thier hardware, and helped the second partys polish there games.

Its basically the same thing going down the GC/Wii library.

Even though Nintendo simplified development with both those consoles, its the ones who spend the most time on the games who seem to get the value for the buck.

On Topic: I didn't know Gran Turismo 3 or Grand Theft Auto III were on the N64!....oh your referring to Zelda. That game where you ride a horse and play your little music tunes, all while wearing a green dress.

it was the first Gen of 3d, and some devs did not know how to make a 3d game yet at that time. While others like Nintendo had already Mastered it some like Midway, Titus and Acclaim were flounder making abysmal 3d games.

You guys should try out Club Drive for the Atari Jaguar. Seriously worst game I ever played. Try to find an emulator.

I wouldn't call Ocarina the best Zelda, or game of all time.

Has anyone tried "Go Right", the ATHF inspired game deliberately designed to be the worst game ever? It could not have been easy making a game this deliberately bad.
