I'm in the same boat as Christhegamer. I want to wait a bit so I can find this game cheaper or used. It didn't live up to my expectations and I have my reasons for not being completely sold on the gameplay as I discussed in another thread. Loved everything else about the game though but something in the gameplay felt just a tad off.

Great game and I hope all that enjoy it have an excellent time with it.

Alternate 2 and Hold zoom off?

According to CGI-Quality Alternate 2 feels like COD4/WaW. I didn't like the feel of those games at all. Nevertheless, I'll try that when I get home. I really do want to like this game for its core gameplay.  I think I'm experiencing what jasonnc80 is as well. I really haven't enjoyed many FPSs this generation. Besides Halo 3, Rainbow Six Vegas 1, and GRAW (and Crysis if you include the PC) I haven't taken to the feel of many shooters including Gears, Resistance, and COD. I actually really liked Mass Effect's shooting mechanics a lot more than most shooters this gen.

I get concerned when we start seeing reviews a month before a game releases. It is almost like they feel that it won't have the staying power so they are trying to hype as many pre-orders as possible.

Other games like LBP, Unchartered, Ratchet and Clank, and MGS get reviews a week or a few days before release. KZ2 has tons of reviews and we are still weeks away from release...

Why? Its not like there is a brand recognition problem... KZ2 has only become synonymous with the name PS3 (We should start calling it the KillzoneStation3). Its only been talked about on every game site for the last three and a half years. If you don't know anything about KZ2, chances are you have been assigned to a solitude test without power in Antarctica for the past three and a half years. you definately haven't been surfing any gaming sites.

The game looks second to none graphically. The question I have is, more about gameplay. Will it be a legendary redfining FPS, or just a solid FPS, with incredible graphics? It seems to be more of the latter. A solid FPS with incredible graphics. It will be worth buying eventually, and I am sure many people who have been wanting more great exclusive multi-player FPS to add onto Resistance will no doubt find it a must have.

well i always knew it would be a solid, decent shooter and i hedged my best at the low to mid 80s average review score, but now i can see itll get about 92-93 so it is even better than expected!

Yeah i was planing on buying it after i was done with RE5 now i might wait a little later i lost watever hype i had for the game

1 they took out blind fire

2 Not into FPS though this game would change that it didn't

3 Cover system doesn't work good ex. at the end of the demo wen ur on the platform and ur buddys opening the last door there is a wall and a low cover next to it if u try to take cover on the wall it won't let U it goes to the low cover instead basically the cover doesn't work well for transverse covers

                                                                      Play Me

Better than I expected

Did Gamestop pay money to make this exclusive? That sucks man! how did Sony fall for this??

lol how is it a bad thing they payed for it while anyone who does not want to preorder from them can simply download from a eu psn.

wehh wehh wehhh.

I didn't plan on buying it because I'm not really into FPS but I let the hype convince me that this game could be different. After playing the demo, I realized it's just another FPS so my mind wasn't changed.

Signature goes here!

Yhe demo was awesome

Sony basically does not care about having PSN accounts in different regions, and this way they get money from gamestop, but people get to play it, as they do nothing to stop having foreign accounts, this is proved by the fact that ND patched the UDF demo on the US PSN store to remove the region coding stopping Europeans from playing it, and the US PSN store has no videos in Europe as it would violate copyright (or something like that) but they have no problem with people getting other content from there
