IMO Raising the sensitivity will not fix how the game aims, the game is already too loose and raising it will make this even worse. My speed is set below average right now, because there is no way for me to make accurate shots while using the iron sights at the higher speeds, due to the aiming speed increasing as you move it. I played CoD4 at max sensitivity for months and got off accurate shots all the time, due to that fact they don't increase the aim speed as you move, its a contant and allows you to move the analog stick more while moving the aiming thing on screen less. And if people would complain about this like me, then GG would add a patch that would allow you to change the aiming speeds while in ironsights.

It's not call of duty, get over it, I hope they don't add the patch, like this, because it would kill the game for me.
The acceleration bothered me at first, but I got used to it. In fact, it was worse in phase 2 of the beta which they then tweaked for phase 3.
@Kylie - I didn't find the L1 R1 combinations very realistic in COD4. You could easily clear a room by using the snap on auto-aim in COD4 without looking at the screen. This doesn't necessarily mean I am great at shooters, it just means I can take advantage of COD4's extremely generous aim assist. The "you must suck because you disagree with me" argument never gets old.
It's great that many of you can form an opinion about Killzone without playing the beta or the demo. That is a remarkable talent, and your opinion is really valued in this thread.
Based upon the far too short demo, Killzone will reward a player that can function under pressure, make intelligent decisions, and has excellent aim. A twitch shooter such as COD4 is less tactical and essentially rewards someone with the fastest reflexes and fastest connection to the host. Both are fun, and very different. I am very happy that Killzone is not a COD4 clone in terms of game play. I like variety.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
i wasnt going to get killzone 2 because of re5 and sf4 but after playing the very short demo i must add kz2 has just been sold.i liked it alot.i taught it was very hyped and just gonna be another shooter until i played it and dam its good.i know wat your saying about the recoil but if you tap r1 instead of holding it you get alot less recoil.i love the cover system in the game.
i hate games that have a cover system were you always get stuck.you know like press circle against a wall and you stick to it but you need to press circle again to exit the cover cas you always find yourself getting surrounded and in the confusion your trying to run away but your stuck to the dam wall lol.in this its just hold l2 to stick and when you release your unstuck.
i also think its beautiful the way blood splats out of people for some strange reason and about the zoom, yeah i dont like the zoom in it but hey alot of games dont have good zoom features for weapons anyway so i dont care about that.oh and i like wat they did with the knife.im gonna have fun with that when the game gets released

The aiming acceleration in the game is very mild, but it doesn't sound like you played it. In the context of your analogy, the heavy object "suffers acceleration" during the time it takes to go from its initial velocity to its final velocity. The approach in Killzone is different than the approach in COD4. Though neither are truely realistic, the aiming approach in Killzone seems to be a better reflection of the natural world.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
i just hate that you have to press the aim button again to go out of aim.

How would adding two options to change aim speed wreck the game then having one master setting for both. It makes no sense.

In the options there is a setting to change this.

Couldn't that end up giving a big disadvantage to those who play on default controls and aim speed?
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
