Rubido: that is indeed a possibility.
On the other hand, because it is harder, it could also be that casuals fire off entire clips without hitting anything or that they are dead before they have even seen their mark.

^^ppl have said that but i haven't experienced any difficulties. Knocking off lots of helghast helmets. Maybe its bcoz i never played COD4 since COD4 was a very easy game. I didn't even have to change the sensitivity

| Parasitic said: I've noticed there's been alot of talk about it, usually negative. If you're not sure what I'm talking about: KZ2 does tons of things to really give you a sense that you're in control of an actual person. Camera bobbing and slight movement restrictions are some effects used to give you this feeling to make you feel a little more immersed into the game. Before I played the demo, I was really excited about it because I love it when devs make an attempt to give you that feeling and Guerilla does it more than any other game I've played. The actual walk/sprint/jump movements feel fine, but the part that's been getting talked about alot is the zoom/look movement. Now I personally love competitive FPS's, specically when they make the gunplay challenging in a fun and rewarding way. Some people like to call CoD4/5 competitive, but they're a bad joke compared to CoD1. I've often bring up CoD1 alot when it comes to topics like these. Both KZ2/CoD1's guns are abit of a challenge to master, but they do it in different ways: CoD1: The aim/look speed is just like CoD4/5 (fast and precise), but the difference is that the guns have tons more recoil. If you arn't using controlled bursts with automatics, you can expect half your shots to miss. KZ2: This game uses a mix of decent recoil with abit of a sluggish aim/look feel. The challenge here is trying to control that movement. I can completely understand the reason for this if you're wielding somethin like a machine gun, but for a pistol it makes no sense to feel so slow.
I've been reading a little more about it on the Playstation Boards and things are gettin a little stupid - the people there don't seem to know how to describe what they're feeling and now most of them are calling it "lag", or even blaming their TV's. Even Seb (Guerrilla's Q&A manager) started a thread about it and now seems to be fooled into thinking it really is lag or issues with some TV's: http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=killzone2&thread.id=142208&view=by_date_ascending&page=1 Now my personal opinion on this: Like I said before, I like a challenge. I love the fast/precise CoD'ish feels, but I hate it when guns are too damn easy to shoot because they're too accurate or lack recoil. But KZ2....I hate to say it but it feels wrong and awkward. Aiming feels tedious. Everytime I watch a KZ2 vid, I always wonder why no one uses the ironsights and now I realize what's going on. I could probably get used to it, but I can also imagine it bothering quite abit So what's your take on this? Did they go too far with it? Does it feel right? Realistic? Too slow/sluggish? Should it be changed? Again, just to clarfiy: I'm talking about aiming/looking/ironsights, not walking/sprinting/jumping.

This post may be fair to COD World at War, but I think it's a little misguided in its critique of COD4 Modern Warfare.
Sure a WWII era Thompson submachine gun should be difficult to fire on auto. But, have you ever fired an M16 / M4? To add extensive recoil for difficulty would be to sacrifice realism. This weapon isn't that different from firing a bb gun. In fact most modern military fire arms have effective recoil dampening...

Heh, lucky spoiled Yankees (well you for a loger time) and Italian youngsters
: when I did the national service (now abrogated, Italy switched to professional army a few years ago after more than 140 years) I used a quite heavy 7.62 BM59 Para (a FN FAL derivative, the foldable stock version) just a few grams lighter than an AK47, the army was just starting the switch to 5.56 AR70, but I had no opportunity to try one
Obviously professional soldiers of the Intruder Parachootists and other special forces Regiments already used newer and more sophisticated weapons...

when your in cover and your crosshair is near an enemy and you double tap aim
it kinda puts it over them for you
dont know if that helps u complainers.
The aiming is just like in the new Turok and Resistance 2. People will get used to it. Also, there's a sensitivity option in the menus, which works wonders! =P
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

I turned off the crosshair and the hud. I just use my pistol and my knife.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
uhh you can make the controls so they are exactly like cod if u want so i dont get what ur bitching about. i also dont understand the point of getting this game if u want it to handle like cod so much. i played the demo twice and the third time i went through i was really good and used to the kz2 controls feel ect. on another note im definetly going to be playing on the hardest difficulty cuz the difficulty in the demo is a joke.
PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E
Consoles owned: Game Cube, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3.
My prediction: NATAL WILL NOT help 360 sales. Maybe a 50-100k boost week 1, then a 30-70 k boost week 2, and back to the norm again after 3-5 weeks.
So people complain about KZ2 doing nothing different , then when it does something different they bitch and moan. If it played liked COD people would say "COD with better graphics" . Go back to COD if you can't play a Game with a Learning curve
i really like the controls it feels like u actually have weight on your and your actually running through the battle field as sev
