If we used the $60 million budget for Killzone 2 which is said to be on the higher side in terms of estimations, how many sales would be needed to break even?

It really depends on how many of the $60 (are games usually fully priced in NA?) Sony get back, my guess would be $20 at least as they published and made the game. So 3 million sales to break even, add advertising and all other factors........4 million to break even? This is what happens when someone with no idea on the gaming industry starts with his guesstimations. :P

i'll say 2 weeks. which is sad, because even though kz2 looks like it is going to pwn everything in all respects, r2 is still one of my favourite games and i don't think it got the sales it deserves.



It's all about the game.
