I agree. There were four threads about it, over 3 weeks. FOUR THREADS!

I cannot express my anger! FOUR! That's almost 0.2 threads a day, regarding just one topic! So old so quickly.

 

And Smeags, I actually find the Console/Handheld relationship very interesting.

 

And Smeags (at your edit :P), they are kicking asses... The asses of their employees. Cutbacks you know :D

 

Last gen, it was 80M vs 180M (31% vs 69%), whereas last year, it was 47,826K vs 45,901K (51% vs 49%)

So...today you claimed Nintendo really bought their own products, and now MS is lying to us! Any ideas what conspiracies Sony has?

Sony is a part of the US government. The 2.5 million in prison are just a fake appearance. They're really all Sony employees.

You know the recent layoff of employees in Sony? Yeah... They're the guys in the Guatanamo prison.

I thought Wii #s in December were a bit low, going by NPD numbers. It seems now that it was supply constrained, which would explain the huge Wii numbers now. They are in supply right now and the people who were searching for 1 in vain last December are finding them now.

The Wii numbers are insane, but anyone shocked by them hasn't been paying attention. Just like last year, Nintendo used air shipments to help meet demand during the holidays. That extra stock would normally have arrived during January; since it wasn't there, January shipments were extremely low. This week, normal shipment levels have returned.

On another note, the Wii seems to be in stock everywhere now for MSRP - even at online retailers like Amazon.com and Gamestop.com. Amazon also has Wii Fit for MSRP. If this continues, we'll finally discover the true demand for the Wii. (So far, US sales figures have been showing supply, not demand.)
