Had a slumber party for my daughter last night.  Whole night was filled with giggling, cartoons, pizza, and kiddie games on my Wii and 360.  The smoke is finally clearing but I'm still stuck with one little girl whose mom won't answer the phone.  Incidentally, this lady is the only woman who didn't call to check on her daughter or wish her a good-night, last night.  Hmmm...... I wonder if I'm going to be stuck with this extra kid all day while her mom goes to Vegas or something.

she sounds like my neighbor...she left her 5 year old daughter at a house with 5 families and all she was doing was standing there watching boys throw bricks and she almost got hit with one....her mom was in the house trying to get pregnant.........WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD1!!

I fail at life... I just stank up the NFL Prediction League so bad that I posted my own real name on the interwebs (it's Andy Martin, btw) just to set myself up for heckling IRL. I really am just a total loser. Now excuse me while I cope in my usual manner... It involves a lot of eating and just feeling miserable all the while, because I'm so fat... :(

You gotta work on that self esteem, man.  Easier said than done, I know.  But still.  First of all, the NFL Prediction League isn't important.  People may make fun of you for some bad choices but you know what?  Fuck 'em.  Unless the grand prize was $100,000 and a blowjob from Sara Palin, the only thing that you would have won was bragging rights (aka not a damn thing).  As for being a total loser, I don't know you.  But if you believe it, that's what you're going to be.  Don't focus on any of your shortcomings because we all have them.  You have to focus on what's good about Andy Martin.  What do you do well?  What do you have going on for yourself?  Surround yourself with like minded people and lift them up while they lift you up.  I don't care if it's the Futurama fan club.   And finally, the eating and feeling miserable because you're fat.  Simple enough.  If you're not hungry, don't eat.  If you do eat, don't eat until you're full.  Eat enough to kill the hunger.

A positive attitude and changing a few bad habits will take you farther than you can imagine.  How old are you, Martin (I call everybody by their last name)?

I'm in my twenties, but I must apologize: I'm not really that upset, I'm just a bit frustrated by my performance in the NFL Prediction League... It may just be bragging rights, but I rarely have something worth bragging about these days. My finances are in a state of glorified poverty, I live with my mom, am unemployed, and may be unemployable. I tend to start things I don't finish, and I barely live within my means. I'm not upset, mind you, but I'm far from happy... But life goes on, and I don't really have time for pity, whether from others or myself. I just need to push forward, and I'll be alright.

Oh, it's not pity.  I like to help people if I can.  Sounded like you had a problem.  You say you'll be alright.  That's good enough for me.  Keep your head up, man.

I think the door behind my chair must be made of some invincible super-paint. I keep slamming my chair into it, but the surface remains unmarked.

I think brawl4life is gonna pull away with the NFL Prediction League for, like, the second year in a row, and that it's gonna be harder on me this year because his mojo got underway far earlier than it did last year, while I've been on a seemingly endless downward spiral out of contention...
