@Euphoria14- I would say so. The controls were very satisfying, realistic and had a "weighty" feel. The 1st person cover system worked well and the whole thing looked fantastic. And it was just a lot of fun.

Oh dear god, the demo is awesome :D I just love the more tactical approach to the FPS gaming that KZ2 is using, you can really see that in the higher difficulties run and gun will not work, since you almost feel the weight of the character and the gun on your control, it's makes you plan your moves and not go there guns blazing. The A.I is great, i got flanked a few times and even got hit in the back with a melee on the floodgate room!! I've been playing FPS since Wolf3D times, and that's the first time i've got melee'ed by an A.I who snuck behind me like that XDDD
Off course the graphics are top notch, downright the best i've seen on a console, easily surpassing MGS 4, Uncharted and Gears 2, the sound is awesome too, at 5.1 dolby HD, you can really feel like you're in a battlefield. The demo is timed just rightly, 15/20 minutes looking at everything and taking your time =)
So all in all, this game takes it up to the next level, something I have not seen since the HL:2 days, gg Guerilla and Sony for living up to what you've promised ;)

My posts are pretty objective with a bit of annoyance for overhyping all things sony that some are doing .Hell one of the 2 threads that i've made in these forums is actually anti-MS !!!! I bet that i own more ps3 games and WAY more blu-ray movies than the majority of the people here .

Okay. Answer me this:
So it seems Gears 2 is the game to beat in terms of Graphics. Does it beat it or not? I don't care about the game play since that is subjective. All this OMG comments gives me hope but it probably is over blown. This OMG OMG stuff makes me think its approaching the PC in terms of quality. I will download the demo tonight. but that is still 7 hours away.
Just played it....... OMG , The Gameplay is so tight, the Graphics are absolutely astonishing, and the controls are spot on. Day 1! I love how when its loading, you can move the sixaxis thus moving the screen
