Is it really necessary to space out your posts so much? As if this thread isn't becoming long enough per page as is because of all of the people quoting..
Not trying to be mean, but you space like 4 times between every thought you have. It's really unnecessary.

Well, I don't think Gabe is worried about KZ2 nor has it "shut him up".
As cool as KZ2 is, it doesn't come close to the narrative or presentation that the Half Life series posseses. And people claiming him to be part of the MS moneyhat are just not up to speed in the grand spectrum of gaming. If this were true, Valve would not be running STEAM and blowing WinLivePC out of the market.
Honestly, console-centrics are so out of touch.

The ps3 is too sofisticated for this guy...
Gabe is just arrogant and his ego won't allow him to apologize for what he said about the ps3. Of gg can make a new engine and create a game from scratch that cannot be beaten technically by any ms studio or valve, then gave better rethink his strategy and think about what he said. Just cuz he made some good games doesn't make him immune to mistakes.
If gabe really wants to prove he is right, let's see him up the ante or even match the bar that has been raised by gg. After all, according to him the 360 is easy to work on. He should be able to create a game like kz2 is half the time if not less.
Gabe, put your money where your mouth or stop talking bs!
Truth is life is a learning curve. People like gabe will give up whilst others will strive to do their best. Excuses and being lazy won't get you any favrotism and or acclaim!

Was this Gabe's original quote, or was there something else?

Yeah I can see why people would get angry, but the first part of his comment is completely accurate. The last part can be seen as "flamebait" but well...
More to the point, he doesn't say the PS3 has lack of power, which some people seem to be assuming.
