Right, but that means that a lack of ports to the PS3 is on EA. It doesn't make Valve lazy. Valve is just small, and does not have the man power to do that. It's the same reason they don't have any announced Wii projects: they can't spare the people.

He was just saying that EA could do the port if Valve would allow them to. Basically, EA are more than willing to make a port to the PS3 because they think it'll make a little extra money.

That still doesn't make Valve lazy. At most, it makes them jerks. I don't think they have control over that sort of thing anyway, though.

Actually I like Newell a lot. He does 'complain' a lot, but hey why he shouldn't? Should all developers just be Yes sir! guys who take everything with no 'complaints'? When he 'complain' about something he is usually right about it.

Sony isn't that important to the games industry anymore. They used to be very important. If Sony disappeared during the ps/ps2 eras, that would have had a huge impact. Now, MS is ready to replace Sony in the case they disappeared.

As far as Gabe Newell goes, yes, he's a complainer. But, yes, his teams have made some of the best shooters.
