If Left 4 Dead doesn't even break even for EA, then maybe EA should stop with the multiplatform approach on games that come out WAY after the 360 version. I believe it would be like trying to port MGS4 to the 360 NOW. It is WAY too late in the cycle. It would be also like Namco trying to port Beautiful Katimari to the PS3 also. Sometimes, it is just too late.
Let's see if L4D manages to break at least 200,000 copies.

Honestly, I agree with you. It's pointless to bring L4D to ps3 now. plus, the EA port is almost guaranteed to suck. 360 can have it. Ps3 fans, get KILLZOWNED!!!

The PS3 getting an exclusive FPS that is set to be an AAA effort should keep people happy. A problem with doing late ports of games, is that they completely miss the marketing window for the initial release, and would require an additional marketing budget. This is probably a reason why a game doesn't sell as well when released way late in the game. And the EA porting it is yet another sign of suckage.
I also might as well comment here on Kaz's logic and the whole "it is difficult to program for on purpose". This logic is proof Sony has lost what it had with the original Playstation. The original Playstation was designed to be easy to code for, and it got the games. The PS2 lucked out at the time, and gave Sony false reasoning in what it was doing. Or, maybe Sony is just puffing smoke now. The puffing is to conceal other plans it has. Sony likely wants to go after Intel with the Cell and try to take over the living room. End result is that it holds up the Playstation brand as fodder in its quest for dominance.
