The game got a very positive review from Official Xbox Magazine (a 9.0) the same score as Resident Evil 5. It's hard to imagine that they are the same quality games but at the same time its one of the most heavily biased mags in history.

After playing Resi 5 demo, I would give it a 6 at best. It's amazing but Resi 5 controls are absolutely diabolicle. They are old fashioned and slow. It has the worst 3rd person controls Ive ever used. Come to think of it they are exactly the same as Resi 4 controls. It makes you wonder why the hell so many people praised Resi 4. When in reality it absolutely blew due to controls.

I was totally unimpressed with the RE5 demo.  I won't be buying it at all (too many games to play to spend my time playing ones that aren't fun).  Halo Wars is a day 1 purchase (but to be honest, it was a day 1 purchase for me before I played the demo)

Ahhhg my shift is over in a little more that 2 hours! I can't wait!

Much, much better than I thought it would be. I've tried demos for console RTSs before, but I always got annoyed with them and quit within ten minutes. I actually had fun with the Halo Wars demo, and it left me wanting more. For the most part I'm going to stick with my PC for RTS games, but Halo Wars is a potential purchase. I never thought I'd say that about a console RTS.

I'm downloading it now. It's going pretty slow though.

I started the Killzone 2 download as well.

Me too. I'll have it by the time I get home tonight (around midnight). Just like the Halo Wars demo, I am going into the demo with an open mind.

this is kinda off topic, but is there a warranty on the 360 wireless adapter? Something has to be wrong with mine. I started the KZ2 download after the Halo Wars one, and I've already installed KZ but Halo Wars is only at 6%.

Note: Both are using wireless and are in the same cabinet.

Something has to wrong.

M$'s content servers are apparently getting destroyed by the demand for this demo.

But it also did this with the RE5 demo. It took forever to download that one as well.

Did you download the RE5 demo the same day it was released ?

Because the 360 demo was downloaded 1.3 million times in the first 3 days.

Wow, Halo Wars was well worth the long download time. I love PC based RTS and didn't think I would care for an RTS based on a console as well. But I was mistaken! I played for a few hours last night and it was pretty good. I will buy this puppy in its first week if not first day.

I tried it last night and was pretty impressed. I've only played a few PC RTS (the early AoE & C&C games) but thought this was very well done for a console. I think it'll be a definite purchase for me now. I'm just not sure if I want to get the premium edition with the Halo 3 maps or not.

Download was pretty fast for me although I downloaded it at 1am lol. I started the KZ2 demo last night too but didn't finish it in time to try it. I started the KZ download but on my 360 I recovered my gamertag, downloaded the demo, and played through the entire thing before my PS3 was even at 70% :(. I had to go to bed before it finished. Guess people are hammering the good demos out this week.

I am on a Silver account and I got to download the DEMO!
SCORE!
I don't know how, but I don't care!

I got to play it and I was totally impressed.
It was real fun, although it seemed real easy. I haven't tried it on Heroic though.
Anyways,
I loved how they brought so much from Halo into the actual game.
How the Warthogs move and how you can use them to ram enemies.
Great fun.
Probably going to cop it.

The 7-week waiting period for silver users kind of stinks. After Sony upgraded the PSN and just rolled out Home, I was expecting MS to deliver anything in order to increase the value of Gold membership.

Ah, I have to download this. Let's see how it compares with PC RTS's =)

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

No problem for me here (in Belgium), ultrafast download like always (running on a 6381 Kbits/Sec).

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

Funny. Games like Crisis Core and the movie Advent Children are usually reffered to as cash ins on the FF VII name despite having high budgets and skilled developers and programmers. What makes this different? I see it as a cash in of the same type. Not a lazy one. But definately trying to use the name of the brand to get high sales and transfer it to a different genre that it's not really home to yet. And sorry, but I've got to be proven that the brand deserves to be in the genre. It gets no free pass from me.

Well, considering the original Halo on the Mac was suppose to be an RTS, I don't see it as a cash in.  I see it as a vision coming true.

so how is the demo guys please tell me
