buy a 360 and help save a starving Ethernopian from malaria

It is funded by its private fortune... not MS business...

I understand that Bill Gates is not involved (so much) in Microsoft...

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

Please, he was attempting to make a good point and I think it was a clever way of doing it. Still, this quote is classic:

"The mosquito incident was confirmed by the media office of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which also noted that the insects released were not carrying malaria."

O RLY? That would have been a PR disaster.

He's gone mad.

Yeah, it's his private fund (mostly obtained via MS though)

About five/six years ago he was at a village in Mozambique where I worked at the time. He donated $8kk to a maliaria research institute in person. Great respect.

Nice guy too.

I still stand by that what I wrote sounds catchier than "Support the Gates foundation somehow and help save a starving Ethernopian from Malaria" catchphrase.

And who knows? maybe Uncle Bill's still getting cash from them somehow either through donations to his fund or a company pention or something, so I might not have been too far off.

Ethiopians are from Malaria? That's tricky to remember. Kinda like how Canadians are inexplicably from Canada, not Canadia.

oh lol. that reminds me.

Didn't the great G.W. Bush once say (and I quote) "This is a great day for all Malarians"?

Probably he did.

I got the South Park reference.
