Shaq Fu was a horrible game. It really was. A bad fighting game that I remember was Biofreaks.

Take it back about Killer Instinct Gold. I loved that game. It might be because I was really good at it though.

I don't get the K.I. hate. Even without the combos, you still had Street Fighter style moves, and could win fights.

Worst fighting game I recall was Battle Arena Toshinden 3. If I were to go back and try them now, I'm sure 1 was worse, but 3 was the one that made me think the series bought the farm. Well, that and Tekken 2 and 3 had come out, and whipped Toshinden around like a step-child.

Fighting games I miss: Tobal No. 1, Bushido Blade, Rival Schools, and Star Gladiator.

not counting merchandise shit I won't categorize as games (like Shaq Fu), it pretty clearly is Rise of the Robots

DBZ Ultimate Battle 22. I hear Final Bout get trashed a lot but this game just shits all over it in the fail department. I can't believe anyone went out of their way to bring that piece of crap over here years after it funked up Japanese game stores. There is just nothing right with the game and that's pretty odd considering that it's building off of the SNES fighters which actually were not bad at all.

Shit, seems I'm to late to ciritique. I was gonna go on about how Rise Of The Robots (absolutely one of the worse games ever made) should have been number one but I can see that I was already beaten to it.

Clay Fighter and War Gods are definatly out there... I'm thinking War Gods. Fighters Destiny wasn't much better either. As far American releases go anyhou. If you consider Street Fighter 2010 to be a fighting game, or even a game, then that is certainly a candidate.

However there was a Japanese only game for Playstation named (and based off of the awesome series) Rurouni Kenshin. I think perhaps the disapointment that this title was really, really terrible makes me believe that it is somehow worse than the others above, but this game really was pretty damn unplayable. I mean things didn't match up right, No reviewer could even give it higher than a 1.5 if they had any self respect. so thats a tidbit for ya.

Oh know one fighting game that should have sucked but didn't? The Power Rangers fighting game on the SNES!

Shaq Fu was bad... but Ballz was worse.
