Hm, the first one on DS got 35/40 from Famitsu but western reviews were around ~70/100, and honestly I wasn't impressed by this game. Hope the sequel will do better here, looking forward to it.

Persona seems to be a complete remake. Atlus probably realized that the original version hasn't aged very well(which is what I heard).

Not a "complete" remake. Other than the adition of anime cutscenes the graphics and gameplay looks the same(from the scan). I'm sure they will be adding some extra things though so I will buy.
