I too enjoyed the demo and am going to get it day one.  But, it is a very streamlined RTS, so it will most assuredly get some low scores.

well seeing how edge also gave killzone a 7 then i think that they have very wierd review habits so this is not going to bother me in the least

I liked the production values... Especially the cinematics, screw a halo movie, just edit all of the cut scenes together and I'll be happy, wow those were cool.
It is an rts games that actually works on consoles = true
It is a simple rts = true
You realize how simple it is throughout the game = true
The gameplay may actually be too simple = true

I think I'll rent it, and if I like it, I'll buy it later on.

I'm not touching the Killzone EDGE thread with a 10 foot pole but it seems like the same bitching comes from the same people everytime EDGE reviews come out.  I'm not really refering to anybody in this thread but heaven forbid a magazine grade on an actual 10 point scale instead of a 7-10 point scale like most of the other places.

7 from them is a solid score for Halo Wars and Killzone both. People should actually read the text in the reviews. There is probably a reason why in their magazine the # score is about the same size as the text that precedes it..

I wonder if this can go AAA 90+ after that Edge review. Nearly 2 weeks until this game is in my hands! and the Embargo ends in just over a week.

Me and another staffer got our copies Tuesday. We're gonna try and get them in the print edition for this weekend. It would rock if we can get them in.

Oh man I have so many questions to ask but I don't wanna know! Which side is best to play AGAINST? Whats you're favourite unit? how many missions are there? is there a covenant story mission campaigne?
