Does this mean they're launching another Wii? No, it doesn't. Don't take it so literally. He means that they want to release something new which will have the same impact as AC:DS, the Wii launch and Brain Training all did.

So we can now buy bigger SD cards?

what is the "fix" for SD cards?

Ha, we still dont know a damn thing about the 'storage solution'. If it loads games directly from a SD card, or does some other strage thing we dont know.

I really hope it allows downloading to and lauching games direct from SD cards. Cleaning out my fridge is getting really annoying.

This is exactly waht it does.

It also ups the spec to SDHC allowing for higher capacity cards and transfer speeds.

You can buy a 32 GB SDHC card for $80 on Newegg and that will surely be less come spring time when the bigger 64 GB cards launch.   A 16 GB card is just $25 bucks right now.

I would like a link, because that would be really cool to confirm that. I mean, that's more than the 20GB 360 HDD (taking formatting into account), and imagine how much space you could fill up with games before your games and the card total the cost of the 20GB HDD.

We already know the first part is coming. Pick a dozen sources.

The SDHC part comes from 2 factors. 1, people have already seen their SD card speeds increase most notably when using an SDHC card. You can use them already if you format them correctly but you're limited to the 2 GB limitation of standard SD. 2, it's a very simple process to update. Most SD card readers can be upgraded to SDHC spec with a simple firmware. It would be odd initiate this update with a focus on SD card storage and access requiring lots of space and speed and not update to SDHC spec.

That isn't proof Nintendo is doing it.
