Wii?

Around the Network

I have a hard time believing ME2 will be on the PS3, at least on the same day. This is a franchise that started between MS and Bioware (and most likely that means MS paid for a good chunk of it in one way or another). If MS had a financial stake in the franchise, I have a hard time believing that they wouldn't have some say in the franchise and would simply let it go to their competitor. Yeah, EA owns Bioware now, but EA also has to honor any deal that was in place between Bioware and MS.

^^many games on 360 also started on other paltforms (DMC ,FF,tekken,....).it's just the nature of the business

I hope they put this on Wii.

Very unlikely ME 2 would come to Wii. It would require that they entirely re-do the game to fit on the Wii.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

ME is different than those games. In those cases, the games were developed solely by companies such as Capcom or Namco, and the exclusivity was decided by them. ME was a joint project by MS and Bioware from the get go, and MS published the first one, letting it slip that it was meant to be a trilogy, all before EA bought Bioware. The fact that MS had such a heavy presence in the development suggests financial support, as well as gaining a strong IP in a area they used to be lacking in. That suggests that MS had to have signed a deal with Bioware regarding the future of the franchise, and if such a deal exists, EA would be legally obligated to honor it.

My assumption basically hinges on the belief that a corporate entity such as MS would have a deal in place if they're spending millions of dollars on development and marketing, that would prevent the franchise from simply being able to jump to another console.

N'Gai Croal is saying that they did not announce a PS3 version. Only PC/360.

Lets ignore your post, and continue to act like it is coming to the ps3!
