Don't you mean what it might not be? The game isn't released yet. At least give it a rent before declaring it sucks.

Geez, it's not even the same publisher.

How is that relevant to my comment. Someone brought up a game, and declared it bad when it was not possible to have played it to know what the game is like. The publisher doesn't magically make that boneheaded notion accurate.

I was supporting your point!

Oh come on people were actually not expecting this? How one can say that and keep a straight face is beyond me.

RE 4 will have devs who make survival horror games salivating, zombie games simply do very well on the Wii.

"Dont go comparing this to Dead Rising. Godfather/Scarface weren't shitty ports."

1. Scarface made by Activision.

2. Those were 6th gen games, same as RE4. This is an HD game put on the Wii, so you can't compare no loss ports to one where something will have to be sacrificed.

>.<

Well most people say it was the atmosphere that made this game great not gameplay. So Wii controls can make this alot better and if they try Wii can still pull of a deep atmospheric game

i thought this a joke thread at first but OMG. I almost bought this game today for the ps3, but if the wii version is done well with excellent controls i'll be picking that version up instead!

If done good, I will buy this game for Wii! It's about the guncontrol for me.

I would never believe this game coming to wii.

Strong emphasis on Wii quality intended to deliver games that "will rival Nintendo in terms of quality."

Hm, maybe this will be higher quality than Dead Rising.

Also

"We're bringing core intellectual property to the Wii."

Maybe EA is learning :)

Okay, I evidently didn't understand what you meant. As for this game, I'm worried of the same whining if the game has to drop a single thing people here think it shouldn't have to.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

This will be interesting.

My thoughts:
Cheap, gimped port to make the big money (I could see that with many other EA titles in the future)

EDIT: Just saw what Soriku posted. This story just got even more spicy

I remember someone saying "where EA goes, so does the market". Will we see even more third party support quickly announced after this?

Hmm, interesting, but I'm not sure this is the right way to go for EA.

They make the majority of their big titles HD. They make increased revenue and then have increased losses. How is changing the strategy the wrong thing? Their current one is crap.
