Sony has said that the European Killzone 2 playable demo will be made available through the PlayStation Store this Thursday, 5th February.

The demo consists of the first two sections of Corinth River, which is the first proper level of the game, so you'll finally get to run through the beach landing and warehouse sequence that's formed the basis of so many previews.

There's also a tutorial - the same one that features in the main game.

OT: Ah, finally. Can the people who kept screaming "Who the hell makes a demo only for people buying the game?!" shut up? Wow, they get a demo two days earlier.

Oh, and for anyone outside Europe, now is as good a time as ever to make a European PSN account. It'll be in the USA by next week, though.

I just got my pre-order today. Probably gonna check out a vid to see exacly how long the beach/warehouse is.

I really hope the rifle that looks like a Garand is in there =/
