Had a look at the numbers and there is a chance all three could hit the mark in the same week, but obviously boosts and slowing sales affect when they will hit those marks so I thought I would get your predictions

Xbox 360 - 992,652/7,348

Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5 should give the 360 a slight boost, Ninja Blade seems to have done nothing if previews are anything to go by. Not much else software wise coming out for the 360, other than Star Ocean 4!!!

Microsoft has the bundles ready, they know they sell like hot cakes, it all depends on if Microsoft get enough of these out. SO4 doesn't look to be a run of the mill JRPG, the Japanese should lap this up. Also note RE5 is getting a bundle. Halo Wars is unlikely to make any impact whatsoever.

Again Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5 are out in this period, these games should also give the PS3 a bigger boost than the 360. Not sure if there is a RE5 bundle? Killzone 2 like HW is unlikely to make an impact. Yakuza 3 should give a boost. A quick look at wiki shows no other games are coming out in this timeframe that will have an impact, we all know how unrealiable Wiki is though so if you know of a game you think could boost sales please let me know (don't just list any old crap, please)

Personally I reckon Playstation 3 will nip it, depending on how many SO4 bundles Microsoft put out!

Wii will reach 8 million first in 9 weeks time. PS3 will then reach 3 million in 11 weeks times. XBox 360 will reach 1 million in 13 weeks time

360 will hit the mark first due to SO4. We've all seen the jump due to tales. The source already confirmed that pre-orders in Japan are pretty impressive. I really think SO4 will take the crown from WKS in terms of sales.

And I thought that RE5 also had a bundle. (not too sure about this last one though).

Wii, then 360, then PS3. If SO4 does provide a big boost though then 360 could nip it. I just don't see PS3 software making a big enough impact to provide the momentum needed to reach its 3 million target first.

OT: It'll be very close, hard to say it might be the Wii or PS3, Yakuza 3 will be pretty huge on the PS3 so it's really to close to decide

Tight race between the PS3 and 360. May hit it on the same week.

You didn't mention Yakuza 3 on the PS3. That game is freakin HUGE, the series sells more than Star Ocean in Japan, and very close to MGS numbers. It's coming out the end of February. If the impact is even half as good as MGS4's, the spark may be enough to edge out the 360.

As for the Wii... yeah, nothing much is coming from it. It isn't going to sell much until later in the year, unfortunately.

edit: Looking at the numbers, they may all hit this mark on the same week. Didn't realize how close the Wii was to the mark, or how big the SO impact has to be for the 360 to stay competitve. Tough call.

When I look at the line-ups... I think PS3 first.... Wii second.
