Forums - Sony - US PSM give 5 to Lair and 6,5 to Warhawk !!!!!!

I haven't seen any receny #s but the major problem for Warhawk just might be the somewhat low PSN user rate. Back in April, there were reports that 1.3 million users had accessed the free PSN which puts less than half of the PS3 owners by that time having used it. While the %s may have increased since then but assuming they haven't, if only 50% of owners actually use the PSN, just how many of that % will buy the game? It makes a small userbase even smaller and Warhawk doesn't sound like it was all that cheap of a game to make.

umm.. at Sony's E3 they stated something around 3m online with the PS3 so.. its grown greatly.

If you are looking for a medieval game, Project Offset looks pretty cool. It's for the PS3 and looks more inspired than Lair. http://kotaku.com/gaming/clips/project-offset-stops-teasing-starts-showing-284134.php

Thanks for pointing that out so I can do the search to find out you are wrong.

SCEA president Jack Tretton said PSN has garnered nearly 2 million users since its launch, 950,000 of those in North America alone, with more than 20 million downloads from its PlayStation store.

That's still only just hovering around 50% for what everyone can freely access.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

Well not really surprised on the LAIR score but the Warhawk score is low just because its multiplayer only which isnt very fair at all.I wait for IGN reviews on games i plan on getting.Oh and a little bit of info some of you might like the guy who reviewed them for PSM used to be editor of XboxMagazine....not that that has anything to do with the low scores....dont believe me here's the link.

Go through that link which has the info and then if you dont believe that go through the link on that page and if you dont believe that then your just a fanboy.

If it has nothing to do with the reviews than why bother to mention it and go through the effort of finding links?

But thinking like that must make me a fanboy....

Not to mention it's trivial to make a new account for PSN. Add to this the fact that some people make accounts to get foriegn demos, and how people create multiple accounts to exploit/standby online (namely RFOM), and I thinks its safe to say the 2mil is well under 50% of PS3's. And before you call me a fanboy, its no different than the inflated numbers with live.

Personally, I have 4 PSN accounts, but I'm probably an exception.

End of 2014 Hardware Predictions (03/03/14)

PlayStation 4: 12-15million

Xbox One: 7-10 million

Wii U: 8-9 million (Changed 01/04/2014 from 7-9 --> 8-9 million)

I dont care .. untill I see both IGNs and Gamespots rating , Im not betting anithing . If one of them gives it a good mark than the game will be probably good . Also , did you heard that Jaws had soled over a million copys :o

thats kind of a moot point because all 3 consoles have people like you with multi accounts (yes even xbox live). Plus how many actually have live accounts or use the online features of the Wii?

This is only going to make Eggebrecht an even more bitter person, which does make me sad.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
