Uh oh... You know why it got 'hate' back then? CGI was shown as a game play and PS3 fans were chanting that it is real game play. When they did knowledge that it was CGI they were still chanting that game will be incredible etc. Its about the same with Sony. Whatever Sony does fans just take it up to ass and offer to take up even more. It works pretty much like religion. Yes, I am one of the nonbelievers as I was called in one thread.

As for crysis. It was too lame for PC standards. If it would have came out on consoles, it would have been GOTY or something.

Well, lets comment about this thread too. When you try to predict something/anything(doesn't have to have relation) eventually you might get it right. Lets see what I mean:

2007 will be the year of PS3 ~ wrong

2008 will be the year of PS3 ~ wrong

Motorstorm will look like CGI they did show ~ wrong

PS3 graphics will blow X360 graphics right from the beginning of this gen ~ wrong

Haze will be the halo killer ~ wrong

Lair will be something amazing ~ wrong

...

Killzone 2 will look just about the CGI they did show ~ right

You're exaggerating with the LBP thing. Nobody said "million first day", they were just predicting a million first week, and that it would be a system seller. That was wrong. I acknowledge that. Nobody said it would save the PS brand, though...

Lackluster 3rd place in ALL of Sony's Current consoles isnt in need of saving? The only good thing going is PS2.

Vagabond has a point. It would have been the blunder of the century if KZ2 after all these years and all the money that had been pumped into the project had gone to waste because GG could not make a good game.

Now, that's not to say that KZ2 doesn't deserve the praise that it's getting, but to make "told you so" statements when we know how many different companies were involved in creating different segments of the game is kind of redundant.

Like i said, if this had not been pulled off by GG and Sony, it would have been the blunder of the century for the companies.
