Fanboys are the reason why user submitted review scores and online polls are ruined of any integrity as a viable metric. The mentality is that by submitting bad scores to the ‘rival’ platforms exclusives and predicting bad sales forecasts they are diminishing the appeal to ‘would-be’ buyers and converting more people to their chosen platform.

The funny thing is they actually believe that they are an influencing factor.
