What I don't understand about the "kid icarus" rumor is why people seem to assume that a third party company is going to work on a first party game. I would think Nintendo would make the game themselves.

As noted above, Capcom made the Oracle Zelda series on Gameboy. Don't forget that Namco made a Star Fox game for GC and Sega made F-Zero GX.

At the same time, why assume that a third party company is going to make a game if we don't even know that there are plans to make the game? And I say that based on the fact that people keep coming up with these fanarts and claiming they are actual character designs.

It's largely based on heavy speculation (damn near confirmations) from IGN stating Factor 5 is working on Kid Icarus.  Their flight engines also lend well to the rumor.   We are not accepting Factor 5 as the developer simply on the basis of this 'fake' imagery alone.

Of course...it's just a rumor. The thing is that these are rumored development images of a rumored game.

I'd personally go to their office and complain if that model turned out to be true. o_O

I would NOT buy the game no matter how good it is if this turns out to be true.

Maybe they should call that game "Teen Icarus" ;)

Or 'Statically Bland 90's-Look-Man Icarus'
