Hmmm. I've been meaning to get an iPod, (Well, a better one.)

I personally like Classical, but I know know the names of many of the songs.

I'll go ahead and recommend the Earthbound, and Mother 3 soundtrack, Chrono Trigger's, and Super Smash Bros Brawl's if you feel like it^^;

The Mother 3 Fan Translation is done! Everyone go get it right now! (Mother3.fobby.net)

Guns n' Roses - Appetite for Destruction. This is the best album ever made.

I think you should have Paramore on your list. You should just download the whole "Riot" album. If you like hip-hop, get some of Lupe Fiasco's songs. He's a great rapper.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Certainly can't go wrong with the classics:

Beatles: I'd recommend the Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band album... so many good songs. You couldn't go wrong with Rubber Soul either; 'In My life' is my favourite Beatles tune.

The Who: Quadrophenia is perhaps the best concept album ever but Tommy is also a fantastic album.

Neil Young: Harvest - beautiful melodies and timeless classics littered throughout

Bob Dylan: Highway 61 Revisted - 'Like A Rollin' Stone' and 'Ballad of a Thin Man' are two of my favourite Dylan tunes.

Elton John: You know you love him. I seen him live just 4 months ago and the man still amazes. I'd recommend a Greatest Hits album.

Johnny Cash: The Legend of Johnny Cash is the album I'd recommend here as it contains most of his greats as well as an excellent cover of NIN's 'Hurt', Soundgarden's 'Rusty Cage' and 'The Man Comes Around'.

I couldn't make a recommendation without mentioning my favourite band or artist.

Pearl Jam: The album Vs., to me, is flawless. It's raw at moments (Blood, Go) but can be very melodic and touching at others (Elderly Woman in a Small Town, Indifference). A must have.

David Bowie: He has so many great albums, but the one I always come back to most often is Hunky Dory. I'd highly recommend 'Oh, You Pretty Things'. If you're looking for THE epic song, however, look no further than 'Station to Station'.
