As for Red Steel; I can't tell, never tried it. But Black & White was truly awful, especially the idiotic bugs the games had (like the unlimited grain cheat bug where God's hand would poor an endless amount of food into the granaries). I hear Black & White 2 is worse though... Imagine that!

 I enjoyed both 1 and 2 =$

Mind you I spent much of my time in both of them throwing people against walls, crushing houses, burning peope and generally being an arsehole. I basically used B&W2 as a city building sim.,I completely neglected my creature the entire time.

 For me?

Dungeon Siege, ridiculously long and repetitive levels, playable the first time through but after that you just felt like sleeping.

F.E.A.R, I suppose I just never got into it (never really have been a FPS fan, apart from MP which is somewhat different).

GTA:SA, Vice City was oh so much better, I cant believe how they can add new things to an old game and make it so much worse.

MGS, another game I just never really got into, I have forgotten most of it (there was something with a big corporation, a ninja who joined your side and a boss with a pistol?) but yeah, didnt enjoy it that much.

I agree on F.E.A.R; it never really sucked me in, and the cliched peek a boo horror was hardly scary.  Dungeon Siege (the original at least) had some insanely vast grounds to cover inbetween cities. Unneccessary imo.

FFX-2. Nothing else even comes close. There is so much wrong with that game it's incredible. What worries me is they blatantly made it because FFX was extremely expensive and they wanted more profit. Now FF13 is going to be far more expensive and on a system with a far smaller userbase. I imagine thats why there are all those side projects announced.

Some of the major points wrong with FFX-2.
The opening cinematic makes me cringe and feel embarassed, it's horrific.
The running animation for Yuna actually makes me laugh, it is just ridiculous.
Dress spheres.
Story.
Characters.
Pretty much everything.

Seriously with a FF game you expect a good story with awesome characters. Not a J-pop game made for ganguro girls.

Oh and also FF8 is my favourite FF. I just love the characters and story.

Oh and yes I would agree that FF6 looks better than FF7. Good 2d beats bad 3d any day. FF7 was great for it's day but now it looks horrid, even the Fmvs do. The biggest problem I have is how it's so blatant that the blocky characters wasn't a stylistic choice, go into battle and all of a sudden everyone is far more realistic. Still a fantastic game though, just graphically horrid.

A game I haven't seen anyone mention is Heroes of might and magic 4. I guess if you weren't a fan of the franchise you wouldn't get it.
I spent a huge amount of time playing Heroes 1-3 with friends. 4 came out played it for a few days and stopped. It was pretty damn awful. And my god that game has some of the worst character design i've ever seen.

I will also add Medival total war. Not entirely sure why. I loved shogun total war but hated medival. They are so similar it seems strange. I think it was just the introduction of catapults etc. I loved shogun because it was so simple yet good tactics good massively affect a battle. By using the terrain right you could easily beat an army twice as big. Medival kinda removed some of the simplicity by adding things to the game.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.

Zim win.

Amazon sales watch is a disappointing game. You watch and watch and watch, note the positions of your favorite consoles, and they still don't sell as well as they should. What kind of crap is that? People still play it though, and they still believe.

Civilization: Call To Power (PC) - I thought it was part of Sid Meier's Civilization series, BOY WAS I WRONG! It was needlessly complicated and had many nonsensical technologies. The micromanagement!@# Argh.. worst. game. ever.

You should try to get your game on with some of the NES "classics" of yester day. While I highly disprove of the guys use of profanity, The Angry Video Game Nerd brings out same games that are down right cruel and awful.

1. Karate Kid

2. Top Gun

3. Nightmare on Elm Street

4. Back to the Future

5. Ghost Busters

6. Friday the 13th (pretty much anything made by LJN; the suckiet game developer in gameing history!)

7. Silver Surfer

FF x-2 was completely awful i agree, i mean wtf, FF went from being a game that had a great story and emotional, to....... girl power? for #%#$# sakes square fire the person who came up with this. Its to bad to, because i was so looking forward to it

I have to disagree with the 2d over 3d in non cinematic and non battle yes, i agree, but in battle, it couldnt of gotten much better then that, it was stunning at the time

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

I don't understand how people can say I dislike FFVII because I am jealous of it or angry that it went away from Nintendo consoles...

I don't think that's the reason. It sounds a lot more to me like you were determined to hate FFVII from the start because it wasn't FFVI. "It didn't have a fantasy setting," for instance, is not a valid criticism. "The setting they chose was dull and ineffective at conveying the story" would be a valid criticism, but still wrong in this case. FFVII had one of the most beautiful and richly imagined worlds of any videogame in history.

I liked Aeris, and she was killed by Jenova, and Sephiroth was given credit by people who didn't understand what was going on.

The fact that you say things like this also tells me that you don't understand the story nearly as well as you think you do. I just wonder if this misunderstanding added to your dislike of the game, or if your dislike made you determined not to understand the plot.

Anyway, the two greatest gaming disappointments in my life were definitely FFVIII and Black & White. I anticipated those for years, and while they were both decent, they fell so far short of my expectations it was crushing.
