lots of games have sales split into multiple game pages. Also, some games are missing others sales. Take those two things into account and those are probably the missing games.

When the DS was released it was getting the same bullshit goalpost-moving arguments the Wii is now. Then the flood came, the PSP was dominated, and fanboys had nothing left to use against it, eventually migrating to attacking the Wii instead.

Let me ask this: Where those 18 million sellers on the Wii more than any other console? And, more importantly, what about total 3rd party software sales? Where these greater than any non Nintendo console? It looks to me like he's comparing Wii+DS, which is about a 150m install base, to consoles like the 360 or the PS3. That's the vibe I got from this article.

WTF are you talking about? The DS was never hated on by anyone other than PSP noobs that were just getting into handhelds because of the PSP. The DS, unlike the Wii, had great support from the start. The PSP had anything more than ports and remakes it's entire life time. For that, it recieved far more hate and bashing than the DS ever did. The PSP had to put up with way more shit than DS ever did.

he is just making it clear that third parties can sell well on teh wii and in fact out sold nin for a few months

he is not saying that x game will ever beat total sold but to say third parties dont make it is false b/c x month had x hit over a million

I don't get why the whole outselling Nintendo 2 months in a row is a good thing.

Why is that supposed to be a plus? That most of the time Nitnendo are outselling the other 10+ publishers all fighting for less then 50% of the market? :/.

Well it would be the exactly the same on PS360 if Sony or MS could create the same amount of quality titles for their systems.

But since they do not it's up to the third parties to create great games.
