The rumor says that Sony sent an email to Gamestop to say the estimated release-date of God of War III in March 2010.

Hiphopgamer i dont trust. Gamestop who knows maybe its true but i will wait until Sony confirms.

While I don't trust ur sources, I do think that it won't release this year. Funny, I went to Gamestop recently to preorder Killzone 2 and they asked me if I wanted to pre order other things and showed me a preorder book. To my surprise, I saw GoW III releasing this year, I chuckled and said "that's not coming this year" and they backed up their release date, forgot wat they said but I know it was a stupid reason.

All the past God Of War games have actually been released in March.

Sony have Ratchet and Clank 2, Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain all launching in NA at the end of this year.

The release schedule might be getting a little crowded, so I could definitely see it being delayed to March.

It would be a shame though. I'd imagine GOW would be a strong holiday seller and perhaps move some hardware over the holiday period.

Probaly but i think Sony wants Gt5 out this year which is the system seller for ps3 and it wouldnt be good for Gow3 yes i know Gt5 and Gow3 has nothing in coment but Sony probaly dosent want ps3 games compete against each other.

well all the other GOW game have released around that time of year so why not, i just find it strange that they wont use this game to push the ps3 at xmas

As long as it isn't delayed into 2011, why would I care. 2009 has way to many games.
