Well, it is a lower score than IGN gave Gears of War 2. But both games got a 9.5 graphics score for similar technical / graphical shortcomings both due to weaknesses in the base hardware.

But, hey, they're consoles. You don't expect them to be powerful, do you?

It has been in that position for at least a few days. It is the second most pre-ordered game on Amazon. At my GameStop, we have more pre-orders for it than any other game coming out, with only the 360 version of SFIV coming close (13 pre-orders vs 17).

(Thinks that Kz1 sold 700k vs R1 over 3m)
(R2 failed somewhat even while crhistmas boost)
(R2 had Critic score over 90 pretty long at beginning)
Hee...I dunno since its been 4 years since it was announced, but I sure hope it outsolds it in first month.R2 was big dissapointment.

Heck with this I'll be getting it too, so add 1 more copy

Plus I've been itching for a PS3 shooter, as to me R2 just was terrible. My bias is now almost completely gone; I was gonna buy Star Ocean 4 and Resident evil 5, but it looks like now Resevil may just be getting rented. REALLY wish there was not parallel joysticks though.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I am not surprised.

I knew it was gonna be a good game back in 08 when they showed all those gameplay videos.

So is IGN and Eurogamer now trustworthy with their "real" reviews?
