Maciej Kmiołek (SCEP) in this pretty short interview summarise situation of PS3 in Poland. Sale of PS3 exceeded assumed target and right now we have 75k PS3's... They expected to sell 100k as for April. SCEP made a profit (as a division) in it's first year of activity.

He provides some details about our market - during PS2 era people mostly bought platinum games (90%) Now we buy mostly full priced games. He's pleased PS3 is still unhacked system. Best selling PS3 title right now is Uncharted - 15k he mention also LBP - 10k, Resistance 2 - 10k, Motorstorm PR - 10 k.

All these figures seem pretty low but as for this particular market it's very solid performance. Much better than PS2.

Those numbers would certainly be nicer if we weren't importing as many games as possible from UK :)

So next time ps3 sells 150 k in a week we say: ps3 has sold 2 polands.

Here's "growing British market" for you :D

I think that he meant that Uncharted is the best-selling PS3 game published by SCE (of Poland) not that it is the best selling PS3 game from any publisher.

All games he mentions (Uncharted, LBP, Buzz, Motorstorm 2, Resistance 2) are Sony games. CoD, GTA and Fifa are quite popular here and I think that one of them holds the nr 1 position (my personal bet would be GTAIV).

For sure, he would only have numbers for SCE games, and even if he had numbers for other companies it wouldn't be for him to announce them. I'd guess GTAIV too.

I bit small but good news none the less.

Didn't they recently announced 30k Killzone 2 games were sold in Poland?
