speaking off of personal experience I know plenty of people including myself that proudly haven't spent a dime on any 360 games in a couple of years but own every game possible. I also know some people who do the same with the psp .. so why is it that piracy affects the psp more than the 360.. especially since its easy as pie to pirate both?? all I read around the net is how its not worth developing for the psp because of piracy..

Fuck you you fucking piece of thieving shit.

You are fucking PROUD that you have all games but havent bought a single one.
Well FUCK YOU.

Well said and if I had your address I would pass it onto the police. Is it possible to get this user's address and forward it onto the police.

@ Christthegamer -Yah, the police are going to go to someone's house because there Xbox 360 is modded, real intelligent comment!

@ fishie, why don't you take a look at his profile to see the amount of games the guy actually does own, who gives a shit if he dls some of them , he's purchased 11 games for his 360. and 21 for the PS3 (which you can't mod yet). I think your comments are a little extreme there bud.

@Nirvana: I'd recall someone saying here in VGC that you can pirate software for PS3, but then you can't go online with it.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

Its one thing to pirate games but another to be proud? Id like to give you a piece of my mind but I won't.

You shouldn't be allowed to play games.

Couldn't agree more.

I suspect we've all commited criminal offense at some point let karma be our judge and mind your own business.

Did you know it's illegal in the UK to use offensive language over a telecommunications network Fishie?

So I could very much in the same way give a big FUCK YOU to you also. But I won't because I'm a relaxed calm person does mind my own business. Can't believe that VGchartz mods tolerate your post regardless of your intent.

LMAO at the ppl who take such great offense to what the OP does. You would think this guy stole your daughters virginity or some shit, my god. Im not gonna condone piracy, but its his business. If he gets caught then so be it. But there are much bigger and more important fights to be fought in this world than piracy.

I dont pirate myself, but ive damn sure thought about it before. And I know ppl that do, but to each their own. For instance, I got laid off from my job of over 2 years and knew money was gonna be very tight until I found work again. I had a buddy that was gonna mod my 360 so I could play burnt games. Now its obvious I wasnt gonna to buy the games without any income, so was I really taking money away from anyone?? Luckily I found work and have purchased all my games legally though.

If you couldn't afford them then you simply don't get to play them.

Oh I can't afford a car does that give me the right to break into a car showroom and pinch one? I was never going to buy one so it must be!

I'm guessing that 'piracy' (I use quotes because I know a lot of 'pirates' are more interested in the emulation aspect of the PSP than the actual game library itself) is a large part of what spurred the PSP to the success its had--especially outside of Japan--so maybe the question should be: would the PSP be remotely as well-received if piracy was impossible on the device? Especially since, the ease of 'hacking' a PSP doesn't require you to do anything invasive to get it to that state.

Meanwhile, on the 360, it was a success long, long before it was 'easily' hacked (and if you consider opening up your 360, hooking it up to your PC, etc., as easy you vastly over-estimate what most consider easy), so you wouldn't likely see nearly as outsized an effect on its userbase.

Let's say you pirate 20 games on their 360.  At full retail price, that's 20 times $60 or $1200 (plus tax) of merchandise you have illegally obtained.  Who is hurt by this?

1)  The government.  Sales tax equates to government funding so the less you buy the less money the government receives.
2)  The retailer.  Retailers do not have unlimited space and it's generally a battle to see what product lines get XYZ space.  Anyone who has ever watched an electronics department downsize (fewer shelves/display cases) should understand that if products are not selling, they will carry less.
3)  The publisher.  The fewer sales they see, the less risk they're willing to take on new IPs.  When a publisher is doing well, there's plenty of money to go around and are likely much more willing to put forth venture capital and sponsor new IPs.  When a publisher is not doing well... we have that situation today so you might as well look around.
4)  The developer.  Companies are closing doors during this time because of lack of profit.  Games are getting cut from upcoming lists because of lack of funding.  If they can't profit off the games they're making, we won't see them make as many games and franchises may be discontinued.

and finally...

5)  The gamer.  We see fewer games in stores, fewer new IPs coming, fewer games coming entirely, and companies that some of us will miss closing their doors.

And no, piracy is not 100% to blame for anything above.  However, that $1200 (plus tax) you didn't put into the video game market by pirating 20 games on your 360 is contributing to it.

@bolded : I don't believe that for a second.

(PS:  My list misses a lot of others like general stakeholders of companies but you get the idea.)

psp doesn't need online also psp 1000 and 2000 are uber easy to hack.
many people in my country do it, and charge 25$ and include games.

nintendo uses accesories, and bundle the games to avoid that.

You know this comparison is so fckn retarded its not even funny. First off, I never pirated anything so save the self righteous bullshit for someone else. And lets break down the facts here. If a person steals a car they are taking something that physically exists, something that will cost the company money to replace. If a person pirates a game, in all honestly they are not costing anyone any expense. Sure they MIGHT have been a possible customer to actually purchase the item. But even that bears the burden of proof.

Like I said though, there are much more important things to worry about in this world than internet pirates. I'd rather let the police worry about the drug dealers, rapists, murderers than worry about 14 year old Jimmy that pirated Gears of War. Really is worrying that so many ppl see stopping internet pirates as their great crusade. If your gonna pick a battle to fight, make it one that worth fighting.
