I've just realised that I've bought more PS3 games than PS2 ones: 21 vs 20 to be exact.

This happened over the weekend and is likely to increase soon.

Has anyone else found themselves in this same strange position?

Or am I just part of a weird minority?

yup I have bought more games for my PS3 than i did for my xbox.

PS3:12 games

Depends how you see it, as I have two PS2 games, but never owned one xP

lol no i've never modded any one of my consoles, games I've played but didn't buy I've either rented or borrowed from buddies.

My played games > my bought games on the PS2, but more PS3 games have actually tickled my fancy enough to warrant a purchase

If you want to spend less money on games, don't visit gaming forums. Thats my advice.

That's impossible. Even people who didn't own a PS2 wind up with about 60 PS2 games somehow. There's a copy of "Mister Mosquito" in my bathroom. I don't even know where it came from!
