@Darth I think the whole concept of sales > until 4th? 3rd? year and then decline is pretty stupid.

Ya I know about how the price is killing the sales etc.

It wouldn't be such a big problem if the same economic troubles weren't sinking the company behind the console.

PS sales are sh**e Sony needs to step up to the mark.

they need to keep this price & hope sales don't go down to early 07 levels WW....thats all SONY can do ATM.

not very good numbers for 360 considering that they are just a bit more than PS3 in sales and unlike last year, 360s aren't out of stock.

I am have no words, those numbers are quite sad. If THE ps3 doesnt get a price drop soon, i expect 2007 numbers very soon.

First 4 weeks 07: 224K

First 4 weeks 09: 255K

And 09 has an advantage, as this year, the year starts the 3rd, while it started the 6th in 07 (so it has more holiday days)

PS3 won't go down to 20K

it just won't......all trends point to it settling 10K below in NA a week

& 20K or so below in Others a week.

360 sales are good but not excellent, seeing that arcade sells the most.

i bet ps3 beats the pro and elites.

but either way i have to give props to microsoft for making thier entry machine affordable.

360 should sell more weekly untill price drops for ps3.
