600,000 units would be impossible anyway in non-holiday periods, considering that production is at 550k per week and they stockpile around 25% of that during the year for the holidays. 400k per week is more like it.

There are still sold out everywhere where I am (Toronto, Canada). Last I saw one was November. However with the increase in supply I am expecting to see them around a lot more regularly.

@Bigjon: Actually Europe gets better supply due to competition being the toughest here.
In NA you are going to sell out anyway, but you'd lose ground to competition in a region that never has been strong for you. And, due to currency fluctuations, Nintendo propably makes currently more money with selling Wii in NA that they do selling them in UK.

yeah where I'm at you can find wiis if you look hard enough....you might have to wait a few days but eventually you will find a store that has one....Wii fits on the other hand are still a littler harder to find
