Forums - Nintendo - Is it me, or most people who don't really care for the Wii...

Well, while the Wii has great potential for FPS games, I can see why many extreme FPS fans would be really disappointed with the Wii.

The lack of the games you like to play will most likely cause you to not like that particular system very much, great find Soriku!

:P

no, its mostly FPS and TPS

Nope, I love rpg, and japanese games in general and I still don't care.

I got a PSP for rpg's ;) On PS3, I'll play eternal sonata soon, then WKC, FFXIII, FFvsXIII and many others ^^

No, Yes, Maybe, Yes and Yes
@ Title: No.

I still don't get why ssj said that RPG's pretty much wont work on Wii for him... when the only RPG I can think of ToS doesn't even use them, if anything it's better not having to slouch or sit while holding 1 controller and instead slouching, laying down, siting or whatever while having your left arm and right arm do whatever since each controller is in the each hand.

Im not sure what was the point of this post?

The other guy talking about fps, they need wii motion plus, way too impercise.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Wii Friend Code: 4094-4604-1880-6889

I play shooters, but I don't give a damn about WRPG's. Most of the games I care about ar geared to a global or japanese audience. Yet I don't care much for the Wii. And I won't until a few key games are announced.

Most of the people that I talk to that dislike the Wii, also find Japanese games more interesting. Most of the games we want are going to the HD systems.

But this is just what I see.

4 ≈ One

If you add racers, sports games, third person shooters and action games like SR/GTA then in my case, yes. Wii just doesn't compare to 360 when it comes to games I like. :p

The MotionPlus is an additional accelerometer that allows for true 1:1 movement, and is therefore for games other than FPSes, though there really aren't many to choose from in the first place. The IR sensor, the main component in FPSes, is already precise enough for FPS games. MotionPlus has nothing to do with it.

I was too lazy to type that. =.=

Also Red Steel is the only FPS where motion + could help and thats why their is semi-anticipation for RS2.
