Did you read the halo supposed "script"? Thank god that didn't get greenlit...
Why should Warner Bros. throw a few dollars at The Legend of Chun-Li that movie is made by 20th Century Fox. 20th Century Fox knows all its movies coming out this year are not very good or they wouldn't have tried to stop the release of Watchman which is will be great. I'm pretty sure the Lost Planet movie is going to be pretty good also since Warner Bros. is making it.
wow so they want to loose a shit ton of money
what is the best video game movie ever made? I see this movie flopping worse than superman returns did and wasn't that like 150-200 million as well.
I guarantee more people bought or went to a SUPERMAN movie than they will go to a lost planet movie.

You mean in quality or moneywise ?
Capcom are retarded... Final Fantasy The Spirit Within almost killed Square Enix and the budget was about that $150 million.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
Well, this one is a loss for sure. There is no Halo movie yet and we have one for lost planet?
"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)
"WAR is a racket. It always has been.
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

Tomb Raider made almost $300 million. (Budget $115 million)
It's "the most successful video game adaptation to date" according to Wikipedia.
Next up are the Pokemon and Resident Evil movies.
Street Fighter and Hitman could hit $100 million with a "small" budget ($35 million and $17.5 million)
I don't know it's a pretty big gamble. If they can get a world wide market here and good enough word of mouth to make it well on DVD they should be fine... but it better be good.
