Do you think the budget was large? I am not sure.
The fighting engine was a polished up engine from previous MK games...with some new tricks.
Midway has the rights to the Unreal 3 engine form Epic.
I do think the DC license wasn't cheap...so I could see it being at around 15 million dollars tops.
