In all seriousness Special Forces if you can. Those guys are amazing. Especially the New Zealand SAS.

DEVGRU>NZ SAS

To be honest I have heard that the British, Australian and New Zealand SAS are better special forces units than any of the American special forces.

i assume you heard that from the british, australians, and new zealandians?

Surprisingly no. I heard it when I was in America for the GYLC.

I think you shouldn't join the military if you can't handle someone's jokes about joining Al-Qaeda.

Onyx you don't know me so you can shove your BS comments.
Hey you're the one assuming things here not me. My analogy was entirely positive and was meant to give you a boost to pick a tough branch. Only god knows what went through your head when you read it though.
To be fair, your analogy was not abundantly clear and there are plenty of "chinese restaurant" stereotypes running around so it would be easy to think you were saying something negative.

[edit:  see?]
I totally understand that not everyone would get it. It's the reaction I got that was odd. Usually when someone doesn't understand an analogy, they ask you what you mean by it.

Well, I don't actually know what reaction you got exactly, since there's nothing in the thread I can see in between those posts.  But unless it was completely crazy, all he did was assume the wrong thing, that you were saying something connecting the armed forces with one of the negative stereotypes.  It's not that he knew he didn't understand it; he thought he did understand it while in actuality he'd interpreted it wrong.

I mean, it's probably the most reasonable error I've seen him make.

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

I have the most epic death scene ever in VGChartz Mafia.  Thanks WordsofWisdom!

Special Forces - let me tell you this. My uncle did a lot of covert op stuff and it killed at least two marriages. Google the relationship rates. If you want a fam, and want to do Special Ops, the odds are against you having a successful marriage.

It literally tore my aunt apart. One of the final straws was when he got a call and left in the middle of the night. Later that morning, she saw the unit he was attached to on TV. It was 1983 and he was in Grenada.

She got a divorce after he made it back.

I would love to serve my country above and beyond the call of duty, but hearing horror stories from uncs - I just gave it up.
