It will be a huge week for new games in Japan  -  Final Fantasy: Echoes of Time for DS and Wii. Wii version will come with a new Crystal Breakers trailer. Last Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles game sold 400k on DS, 200k in its first week.

Winning Eleven 2009 for PS2 and PSP should sell decently, last year PSP version sold 70k (or was it 69k) in its first week. PS2 version usually sells better.

Tales of the World 2 is (obviously) sequel to 2006's Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology. It's a spin-off 'Tales of' series - not to be confused with mainline games like Tales of Hearts, Innocence, or upcoming Tales of Ten for Wii.

Last 'Tales of' game, Tales of Hearts for DS, sold 140,000 copies during its first week on sales in Japan. Keep in mind Tales of the World 2, unlike Hearts, is a spin-off.

That's about it for the big releases, anyone up for predictions?  Top 5 for the week, first week sales, LTD sales, anything you want!

There are some minor releases as well, but ultimately it's these 5 that matter. I suspect it will be like this:

I'm guessing 80k for FF:EoT for Wii first week! But hopefully it'll be way higher. The userbase is there to let this game sell triple-diggits so!... Fingers crossed for this to do well! Carving the way for a big FFCC: The crystal bearers release!

But i have the strange impression that TOW will be a big surprise with sales equal to tales of heart, even if it's a spin off.

The DS version of FF: EOT will selll better than the Wii version but I hope they sell roughly the same.

I would be surprised not only because it's a spinoff, but because 2d tales of games alway sell better in Japan. Anyway I think it could do around innocence's numbers first day.
