It will beat WKC first week sales in Japan with absolute ease, the series is of substantial size in Japan. Kenzan which was just a weird spin off did 175k first week on the PS3, Yakuza 3 will overhaul that number with minimal fuss.

As I said 200k is everything goes wrong, 300k however is what I honestly do expect.

I'm thinking about 275k first week. This would put it about 10k short of the best selling title in the series. I do not think it is going to sell more than the previous titles.

Gah if it really does get 300k first week my bet is dead wrong x_x oh well, I doubted I would win anyway.

I predict 274k, just so maybe, just MAYBE, SO will make 150+k :P.

On the Japanese forums I go on people are getting to giddy for this game I would call it unhealthy. Half an hour on those forums and I start going the same way, such a damn awesome game. :D

Obviously internet hype =/= mass market which is the majority of the sales so I probably am very wrong but meh, this is the one game I want to sell very well.
