And the funny thing is if the 360 didn't share so many of it's "exclusives" with the PC , everyone would agree that PC/XXX games couldn't be considered exclusive to either platform.

-In title A is on both the PC/360 then that title is no long an "exclsuvie title" because it is availible on another platform , the term "console exclusive" still has no meaning because you don't neccaserily need a console to play a PS3/PC , 360/PC game.

-A person might opt to buy the PC version of a game instead of the 360 version , therfore there is competition between the two formats.

-The PC has hundreds of millions of gamers so it is still a very viable format for multiplatform games.

-If some one's wife had sexual relations with a dog you couldn't argue she was being faithful because she was "human exclusive" by definition there is no devision or exceptions when it comes to exclusivity.

Quoting a dictionary doesn't help much either.  An electician is often called a spark, just because the dictionary doesn't recognise this term doesn't make it false.  In that industry the term spark is accepted to mean electrician.   The same applies to the term exclusive in the video game industry.

 

Well I couldn't think of a much better example at the time ...beastality was a weird approach but still a logical one none the less.

I've been gaming since I can remember and I never remember the use of the word "exclusive" being anything other than how it was defined in the dictionary . A game is either multi-platform , exclusive , timed-exclusive and I think that's about it.

If someone wants to play a game on Pc,be my guest. I say that games are more fun on a 360 then Pc,but it`s only me.

The bad thing is piracy is so easy on the Pc that a 360 will be useless and expensive.

Console exclusive could mean it's only on consoles and not on pc

Like Battlefield Bad Company
or FIFA09 (which is not so good on pc)
or GTAIV (released a half a year later)(too much hype)

It really is not exclusive because they really are the same game just one is on the PC the other is on the 360.

PC is a real gaming platform whether you like it or not.

MLB The Show is not really counted as a PS3 exclusive becuase its on the PS2 as well.

The Angecny, DC universe, and Free Realms aren't PS3 exclusive either.

I take exclusive to mean I can only play it on one platform. Saying they're 360 exclusive means they are Pc exclusive as well and that makes no sense.

What is the difference between playing on a PC and a console if its the same game?

A lot of people do not count TP as Wii exclusive. Its still a great game but because its also on Gamecube it is not seen as the most standout Wii title.

The box shouldn't say "Only on Xbox". It should say "Not on PS3 or
Wii". Not as catchy, but no one would dispute it.

actually, on Bioshock, the exclusive label says "only on Xbox and PC" So even microsoft views both as their platform.

................... Later, it came out for the ps3, then it wasn't exclusive anymore But my point is still valid.
