Intel Core2 Quad

Dual core. AMD 6400+. The cost of quad cores really isn't worth it since many games don't even use that many cores. That is changing, however, as many new games are designed to use them.

a dual 2.0 ghz amd turion x2 on laptop, wished it had better ghz when i bought it, but its descent.

Dual core AMD running at 3.2. I got it for $80, it was a great deal. I don't really need anything else for now, until the Phenom II's come down in price.
