At least they're doing their wonderful 3D remakes on the DS.

So you're saying that they should have made and released before the PS3 was even let alone the dev kits hadn't arrived at any developer.

Do simple math, eh? 2010 - 3 = 2007. Pretty sure the PS3 was out, dev kits had made it to developers, and quite a few games were already developed and released by 2007.

When was it ever announced that Final Fantasy 13 was going to be released in 2007? Because it's going to release in 2009 (in Japan), so I did the simple math 2009 - 3 = 2006. That's were I got my numbers from.

Regardless, it's coming out this year.

Of course they'd not announced it for 2007, because they knew from the get-go that this generation would be disappointing to Final Fantasy fans.

 

For four gaming generations, they always had three Final Fantasy titles per generation. This generation, they don't release the first until more than halfway through the generation! At this rate, they can't release the third until better titles are releasing on newer consoles. You don't see something wrong with that, you're blind.

Also, it's currently supposed to be coming out this year in Japan, the smallest market in the gaming industry. That... doesn't count for much.
