@Slimebeast: I wouldn't exactly call ETQW Wolfenstein but I get your point. Yeah, I love Wolfenstein too, since 3D actually. I still play it, its mods and its sequel Spear of Destiny sometimes. I don't really know about the next Wolfenstein, though, as it seems and sounds pretty bland and I'm not so sure about the dev. I'll have to see what it turns out like. Oh, and I wouldn't be too excited about the multiplayer part yet as apparently they've stated they're going for something like RtCW instead of W:ET so I take it they're taking a more simple approach which could be something I don't like.

I have faith in Wolfenstein because the dev is Raven, and they have a very nice pedigree. I loved Heretic, Heretic II and Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast by Raven. (Quake 4 was decent, but Raven got critical acclaim for Jedi Academy as well)

What you're saying about the MP worries me. It's a pity they didn't engage an outside MP-expert like Splash Damage or Nerve back in the day, to make a real good multi-player.

RTCW's MP was fantastic for it's time - I remember the map with the air hangar, that made me really open my eyes for objective-driven gameplay in MP, and I never could go back to play deathmatch and CTF ever since.

But you are probably right, Wolfensteins MP will probably feel simple by modern standards.

Yeah, not much from me I guess. I definitely play Blizzard games more than anything. I'm actually not a big fan of Half-life, but the mods really kept me going for a long time (Vampire Slayer, Pirates Vikings Knights, Day of Defeat). Damn, I want a new VS badly...
