The latest system update is just some freaking BS. Why don't they put something useful in the system updates like make Home better, or strenthen the wi-fi. Hell anything is better than digital photo viewing and cataloging.

Cry me a river man. It's a little update every few months, some people will find them useful, some won't. You'll probably end up spending more time complaining about it then it actually takes.

it also brings stability.

hell my fan its working okay again, so i am happy.

also those updates makes xmb OS use less ram and thas awesome for many multiplatform games.

it gave us new divx support man,,,you know how awesome is that?(not that awesome but better than nothing :P)

yep, that actually solved a problem I had with some files.

I found this update very welcome. It is far from worthless, Everynight since the update came out I have been using it to organize all my family photos, car pics, four wheeling pics, and gaming pics. The best thing this update did was make it a lot easier to create albums, and that is something I have been waiting for for ages. Like I said when this cam out, I hope to see this application expand in the future, to add more editing tools, and even easier album creations.

PS3 is more than a games device, and Sony is giving it brilliant support. I wish they would have been this good from the launch of the PSP. Had they worked as hard on getting PSP functional as a multimedia player sooner, I think they would be in a much better place right now with the system.

All I want is mkv support. Then the PS3 will be perfect for what i got it for (a cheap HTPC).
