Sounds about right if you look at consoles. FEAR 2 didn't have an astronomical budget and engine was in house developed so I don't think they are aiming for more.

PC version will sell a shitload.

I honestly think this will be my favourite single player shooter of the year. I love horror games and FPS games...combining them together is like having cookies and cream..

tried it on PS3 and really liked it!

grafix are better than average, but it's the atmosphere that really impresses.

and the demo played smoothly so i guess this will be much better than that sloppy f.e.a.r. port that the ps3 got a couple years back, thank god!

I doubt it will sell much on PC (although I know FEAR is regarded as a PC game first and foremost), I'm afraid it will be torrented.

But it does have multiplayer too doesnt it?

Well... I tried it on the PS3 and I'm not sold. Note that I never played the first one and I'm not used to play FPS on consoles.

The atmosphere was allright and the constrols were fine, but neither was great. The graphics were also quite disappointing.

I might get the game when the price gets lower, but there are so many other titles I want that I'll probably miss this one

I HATED the menu interface on the PC version... However for the actual content. If Monolith manages to keep up this for the whole game this game will absolutely fucking rock.

Yeah your right about the diversity of adding Robots to the game...Idk I liked Part 1 of Fear alot I never got bored of it...maybe was the scary atmosphere...But your right maybe Ill get used to the Robot addition and eventually like it :)

Thats crazyness... Controls are awesome, exacly like COD but a little bit faster with more of an arcade feel. Movement is fine as well.

What part of graphics is not up to par? the animations are superb, lighting is excellent, particle fx and video filters used are different but I don't think bad in any way. The only tink that wasn't up to industry leading standards were the models themselves and some textures were a little bland...

I never had any problem with part 1's diversity...loved it. So much so that I played the first expansion and loved it too...second expansion started to bog me down a little though... Im glad this isn't an expansion in any ways but a brand new game.

PS3 owner just finished the demo never played other FEAR games not into FPS that don't have a cover system either but the demo was good it did a good job of explaining the controls my only gripe is that the graphix weren't spectacular maybe the 360's are better

I liked the end part wen ur in the MecWarrior type thing but of course it had too end there
