Forums - Nintendo - Trading my PS3 for a wii (need game advice)

Pro Evolution Soccer comes out in March on the Wii, and 2008 was the best football game i've played for a while due to its controle scheme.

About Mario Strikers, i call myself a football fanatic but this game is very enjoyable, as long as you dont expect a football game (if you know what i mean)

Get Fire Emblem its the most challenging and epic game this generation :P

All sugestions people are posting here are great. But since you will have limited playtime, start out with Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, Zelda: Twilight Princess and No More Heroes. I haven't played Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn yet, but reviews say it's better than Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, which is the most involving story I played in a videogame yet. If your cousin has a gamecube controler and a gamecube memory card, I would certainly recommend you try that one also (the wii one is a sequel to the gc one).

Other than that, anything I recommend (almost) anything on my playlist. That Quantum of Solace game is average. And you want something different, anyway. :)

EDIT: Ohh yeah... if you like soccer games and want something different, give PES a try. Different than anything you played before. Damn... two months is not enough :P

RESPECT@ admitting your thoughts before and after playing the wii.

too bad many ppl focus on the 'before' section whilst not giving the 'after' a chance.

well, since it is a short time, I would not get brawl, or MKWii... those games are the type yoy play off and on forever, but not much in a short while.

for your situation

Okami
Zelda
SMG
Z&W
Fire Emblem
and Metriod

should last you the whole 2 months or so, especially FE (unless you plan on playing 5 hours a day...)

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I will have to try it on a FPS, it seems a little strange or unfamiliar to me at the moment though (lack of playing).  Hopefully it isn't when I am playing the game.

I don't think you should have much trouble. It's all most as natural as aiming a real gun.

, I'm gonna rephrase that then : It's like soccer but fun and entertaining! (Hope no one from Europe reads this!)

You are dead to me

If you hadn't played them on a diferent system : Bully, Resident Evil 4

Shoot, RE4 is worth playing on Wii even IF you've played a previous version. It's one of the few times I've double-dipped...

@damnedl0ser: what games have you tried so far?

Wii Sports
Wii Play
Mario Galaxy
and a fishing game, I forget the name of it.

I would say NMH, De blob and Twilight Princess are good start off.

Former something....

P.S. I enjoy games that are geared more towards adults.

Okay please don't call me a troll, but doesn't what you just said defeat the purpose of getting a wii? If you want more adult games keep your PS3 or get a 360.

but anyways I guess for "Adult" games get No More Heroes, and wait for the Conduit/Madworld.
