At least nintendo is giving new names to their consoles: (besides NES and SNES and the gameboy generation)
Nintendo 64, game cube, wii
instead of just adding a number or portable;
playstation 1 2 3 portable
xbox, xbox 360

Are they too lazy to think up titles so they just throw "wii" at the end. You don't see "Uncharted PS3" because they decided to use a name like "Drake's Fortune" and now "Among theives". You don't see "Halo 360" either

Here's a short list of them just by typing "wii" in the game search option. I won't include Wii fit/sports/play because they follow the whole "wii" line of games. But here's the ones that bother me:

Mario Kart Wii

G1 jockey wii

karaoke joysound wii

big brain academy: wii degree

resident evil 4: wii edition (whats wrong with just Resident Evil 4?)

Powerful major league 2 Wii

Crayon shin-chan wii (more like crayon shit-chan wii)

Home Tutor Hitman Reborn! Dream Hyper Battle! Wii (I did not make this title up)

Major Wii nygero! gyroball (major wii nygero? are you serious)

okay sorry my list got longer than I intended. but you get the point. What do you guys think, Does it piss you off or is it okay?

Yeah I bet that's the reason. Because usually a developer doesn't spend more than 5 minutes to think about the title.

And no, it doesn't bother me the least.

I'm surprised we've come this far without pointing out the terrible DS naming conventions in the first two years of it's life. Off the top of my head:

Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Bleach: Dark Souls
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword

What do they all have in common? D.S. subtitles.

And there's loads of just 'DS' ones, like Mario Party DS, Mario Kart DS, Tetris DS, and a personal favourite of mine, Super Mario 64 DS.

his banned? it must be Ninty fanboys always reporting him. Its what marioboys do best here.

it doesnt matter how many times his banned all i know im gonna be thinking of that pic whenever i play mario/ninty games. You havent been effected by it? Well whatever suits you man...

Uhm some random guy on the internet is not going to effect something I enjoy like playing Wii with friends, and thing is you never look like that while playing Wii so what does it matter. But since you're so easily influenced by random people you don't know and shouldn't care about here.
